Rolling standard dice

One or more dice can be rolled any time by dragging and dropping them over the chat window.

Press the left mouse button down on a 3D die on the tabletop, and drag the die.

To roll multiple dice, click the right mouse button while dragging the die.

Drag the dice over to the chat window, and release them over the highlighted area.

The angle and force of the mouse stroke when the dice are released will determine the dice vectors. A minimum force vector will always be applied.

The dice roll will be performed, with the dice results propagating to all connected users.

Invoke the radial menu on a 3D die on the tabletop.

Select a number of dice to roll from the menu.

Move the dice over the chat window, and press the left mouse button down.

The dice roll will be performed with random vectors applied to all the dice.

Rolling special dice

Special dice such as the d100, d3 or others are accessed from the standard dice on the tabletop.

Select the option for custom dice

Select the option for the specific die type you wish to roll.

To roll multiple dice, click the right mouse button while dragging the die.

Roll the dice.

Dice result display modes

The display of dice results within the chat window can be adjusted to perform a number of common dice operations: summing, halving, doubling or negating. The automatic summation of dice rolls can be enabled in the campaign options controlled by the GM.

Locate the dice result bubble in the chat window.

Invoke the radial menu on the result bubble.

Select the option corresponding to the operation you wish to perform.

Drag from the result bubble to the target control.

Desktop Positioning

To control the arrangement of dice on the FG desktop, you can invoke the radial menu on an empty section of the tabletop, giving the following menu options.

• Arrange dice: The dice will be returned to their currently saved arrangement on the desktop. The default arrangement will be used if a custom arrangement is not defined.
• Set arrange position: Only available if a custom arrange position has not been specified. The current location of the standard dice on the desktop is defined as a custom arrange position.
• Default arrange position: Only available if a custom arrange position has been specified. The arrange position of the dice is set to the default, which is lined up along the bottom left of the FG desktop.
