Reference Links
Within each campaign, there are a number of objects that can be dragged and dropped between windows. This section will focus on reference link drag and drop options, and will not cover basic field drag and drop for numbers, strings, tokens and dice. In general, reference links can always be dropped on an empty reference link box.
Reference links to powers will be covered in the next page, due to the frequency and versatility of their use in the 4E ruleset.

Power Links
Power reference links are used extensively throughout the 4E ruleset to allow drag and drop of various powers, features, feats and abilities among a variety of different areas of the ruleset. Instead of listing all the permutations, this section lists all of the sheet sections that support power reference links, between which the power reference links can be dragged. Modules may be read-only, so will only be available as a source of power reference links in those cases.
